I am sharing a recipe for this savory TURKEY CRANBERRY FONTINA CROSTATA that I created for the Cape Cod Select Holiday Blogger Recipe Challenge several years ago. It was the perfect time to use some leftover Thanksgiving turkey and  the beautiful cranberries.

Turkey Cranberry Fontina Crostata, a great way to use leftover holiday turkey and frozen cranberries.

 

 

A crostata is baked on a baking sheet with the edges of the dough folded up over the filling.

If you are looking for a crowd-pleasing appetizer that never goes out of style, this Taco Dip with Meat is it. 

This crowd pleasing dip consists of layers of refried beans, seasoned beef, Rotel, cheese, salsa, sour cream, and topped with shredded lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese.  Serve with Scoops, Tostitos, or tortilla chips.

I’ve been making this recipe since the 1970’s. Back in my early days of marriage and entertaining, I had a handful of go-to-appetizers, and this taco dip was always one of them. It is still just as popular today as it was back then.

Tacos in a Bag are a fun meal that we have been eating here in WV for years. A small bag of Doritos (or Fritos) is filled with cooked taco meat and a variety of toppings such as cheese, salsa, diced tomatoes, and sour cream.
