A parfait bar would also be great to serve at a party. It is quick and easy to set up and can be done with ingredients you have in your kitchen.
I purchased the cutest cookie cutters online and spent the day making these Filled and Stamped Shortbread Cookies. I certainly have not perfected them on my first attempt, but they are delicious. 
Egg Salad Sandwiches are so quick and easy to prepare. Boiled, chopped eggs, combined with a creamy, tangy sauce, spread on bread, makes a delicious sandwich.

On this day, I used sourdough bread, with mayonnaise for my condiment. Another day I made this on ciabatta bread and used basil pesto for the condiment. Any time I have a fresh tomato, I do add a slice or 2 to the sandwich.
