Last week we hosted a Disney Princess themed rehearsal cook-out.
My step son and his beautiful fiancé got married last week. She loves everything Disney, so she planned her wedding with a Disney princess theme. They requested the rehearsal dinner be a cook-out at our house. I wanted to make this special for them, so Bob and I created a Disney princess themed rehearsal cook-out. Welcome to week 4 of my feature on kids cooking classes.
School is now officially out here, so the grandchildren and I are going to try to get together more regularly for kids cooking classes. I told them they could include their friends, so our classes may grow this summer. Continue reading KIDS COOKING CLASSES, WEEK 4→
RV travel can be a lot of fun, but it can also be a lot of work. Be prepared!
The main reason that I prefer RV travel is that you have all of the conveniences of home. There is a lot more space than a hotel room, and I am a germ-a-phobic person who hates to stay in hotel rooms. Continue reading RV TRAVEL..FUN AND TIPS→

Last week I had the honor of teaching a “Healthy Snack Making” Workshop at the WV State PTA Convention.
The convention was held at Lakeview Golf Resort on Cheat Lake in Morgantown, WV.
The youth that were attending had their own schedule of workshops and activities. A few months ago, the president of the state PTA had invited me to do this workshop. I am someone who is always baking cookies and sweet treats, so this was a new challenge for me that I wanted to take on. I wanted to share with you the highlights of my healthy snack making workshop and the ideas that I came up with. Continue reading HEALTHY SNACK MAKING WORKSHOP FOR PTA …→
Taco Pizza Supreme is a pizza crust covered with a ground beef, taco seasoning, re-fried beans and melted cheese mixture. It is then loaded with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, jalapenos, shredded cheese and tomatoes. Add a topping of sour cream and salsa and it’s a party.
We recently finished our office remodel and I am excited to share it with you.
Every year my husband and I do a home improvement project. It seems that when you own a home the project list never ends. We have lived in our home for 29 years, but we still have things to do. This year we decided to do an office remodel for the spring project. Continue reading OFFICE REMODEL FOR A SPRING PROJECT→
